Understanding your Aries rising sign and how it fits in with your Sun and Moon signs can be a bit confusing.

In short, the zodiac sign, which stands as a rising sign in your horoscope determines the specific manner in which the energies and qualities of your Sun sign will be manifested in your lifetime.

For example, someone with a Leo rising is ‘more Leo than the Leos’. They wish to be noticed at all cost, and they suffer if they don’t receive the attention they seek. Those born with an Aries rising have a strong psychological motivation and inner desire to be first in everything, to be independent and competitive. These people don’t like to be told what to do and it is more difficult for them than for all other signs of the zodiac to follow instructions and obey orders.

If the birth chart and other placements generally show a more introverted and shy person, then it is more difficult to develop the above-mentioned qualities. However, if the qualities of the Aries rising are not allowed to manifest freely, then the person may periodically erupt in fits of anger. This inner or outer restriction may also manifest as a disease or some form of self-destruction.
If the chart contains more of the fire element, then all the positive qualities of Aries are manifested freely. In this case, however, there is a danger that the person will become too penetrating, too energetic and very selfish. Then they need to consciously strive to develop a desire for compliance with others, delicacy and prudence.

Aries Rising Compatibility and Love Life
When Aries rises on the eastern horizon, we always find the opposite sign, Libra, on the western.
The eastern horizon has to do with personality and ego, while the western horizon governs our partnerships and our relationship with our loved ones.
Aries develops in us independence and self-focus. Libra on the opposite horizon requires an Aries rising to develop such qualities as the ability to achieve a reasonable compromise, balance, harmony and beauty in the relationship through their partner.
Once they have developed the power of pioneers and had the courage to show themselves to others as they are, those born with an Aries ascendant can begin to develop some of the qualities of the opposite sign.

It is obvious that such an attitude creates a situation that their partners can hardly sustain. In general, however, Aries rising have a strong desire for a lasting relationship and if they wish, they can learn to comply with their partner and make reasonable compromises.
However, all these qualities are manifested not so much externally, but on a deep psychological level. People, who do not know them very well may not have any idea of the presence of such qualities in them. Only their close acquaintances and relatives know this side to them, too.
